Leaf DisposalLink to this category

Hello Members of The Cottages at Mingo Crossing,

Please do not blow your leaves into the street. It disrupts the flow of water into the drains and is also a danger to motorcyclists and bikers, especially children. When wet, the leaves become very slick and could cause an accident or personal injury.

OWASSO ORDINANCE NUMBER 122 SECTION 2

Owasso defines depositing grass, weed cutting, and other items into a public street as littering and is subject to a fine.

Please be considerate to your neighbors. We appreciate all of our Members who collect their leaves and dispose of them properly.

Solar PanelsLink to this category

Hello Members of The Cottages at Mingo Crossing,

We have noticed a lot of sales representatives in the neighborhood soliciting to residents to consider getting solar panels installed on their roof or a solar array for their backyard. Please be aware of the current restriction in our Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions:

ARTICLE VI: USES OF LAND

6. WIND GENERATORS; SOLAR COLLECTORS:

No wind generators or solar collectors shall be installed on any Lot , the Common Area, or any other reserve area without the prior written approval of the Association in advance of the installation.

As of 11/15/23, the Board of Directors is not authorizing the installation of solar panels or solar arrays on any property within The Cottages at Mingo Crossing. It is a topic that will be revisited on an annual basis. There are no exception being authorized at this time.

Any installation that is done without written Board approval will have to be removed at the expense of the Member.

We appreciate all of our Members following the Covenants set forth for our neighborhood.
